This project was created shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, we had to come up with a way to safely film our employees and get their subject matter expertise in this marketing video. We settled onto recording them over a virtual meeting, which does result in a lower resolution video and audio but we balanced that by framing them within a tablet device as if we were truly on a meeting with them. I saw this “trick” done in a few videos done by news websites, and thought it would be perfect to translate into our own. We used project photos and stock video to better communicate to our stakeholders that looking into the structural design of their buildings is incredibly important considering that severe weather events may be increasing over time.
